MEPhI Has Developed a New Computational Model for the Interaction of Information Processes
19.12.2022

A new computational model for the interaction of information processes has been developed in the laboratory "Fundamental Foundations of Information Technologies" of the Institute of Intelligent Cybernetic Systems of MEPhI. The main result is published in volume 71 of Cognitive Systems Research journal.

The scientific team led by Professor Vyacheslav Wolfengangen is half composed of young researchers, it includes students Sergey Andronov (Bauman Moscow State Technical University) and Denis Babushkin, who have already managed to be noted for their publications in Cognitive Systems Research journal Tom 77 and Tom 66 ,  Igor Sleptsov, a recent MIPT PhD graduate, as well as experienced researchers Larisa Ismailova and Sergey Kosikov.

As a result of the study, a new type of model was obtained for studying information processes using the mathematical apparatus of the theory of combinators. The study was made possible with the grant support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.

The results are reduced to the construction of a computational model, for which the concept of an applicative environment has been developed that ensures the interaction of object-granular processes with each other.
