The MEPhI Project Won a Joint Russian-China Competition

The project led by the Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics (No. 31) of the MEPhI, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Nikolai Kudryashov became the winner of the joint competition of the Russian Science Foundation (RSF) and the State Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) to support international Russian-Chinese scientific teams.

The project “Nonlinear Mathematical Physics Approaches for Studying Processes in Fiber Lasers and Nonlinear Control and Excitation of New Soliton Localized Modes” received support.

This year, 67 international projects received support within the framework of bilateral partnership. The amount of one RSF grant will be from 4 to 7 million rubles annually. Three-year scientific projects are planned for implementation in 2023–2025.
