On October 19, the All-Russian Lyceum Student Day was celebrated in Russia. On this day in 1811 the famous Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum was established. For MEPhI, this is an important holiday, because it includes lyceums for high school students.

Lyceums No. 1511 and No. 1523 embody the idea of ​​continuous education, help to prepare future scientists and engineers of the highest qualification. In our lyceums, new forms of teaching mathematics, physics, computer science, chemistry, biology have been tested, the educational process has been built in a new way, which makes it possible to educate schoolchildren for their future engineering and research activities. Institutes of MEPhI supervise education in lyceums, their teachers have developed 23 special courses for specialized classes.

More than 40% of MEPhI lyceum graduates enter our university every year.
