MEPhI online courses on the Open Education platform openedu.ru have been and will remain available free of charge to university students. With other universities – members of the Association "National Platform for Open Education" – the university will conclude relevant agreements and implement other tools for the development of virtual academic mobility of its students.

For students of MEPhI online courses from other universities, educational content also remains free (to obtain a certificate, one must pay in the previously established amount, or undergo training under a network agreement). If you are a MEPhI student and would like to study online courses of our university or other universities at openedu.ru, you can contact the training department of your department to clarify all the details.

The leading universities of the Russian Federation in the field of online education, members of the National Open Education Platform Association – MEPhI, Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University, Higher School of Economics, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, NUST MISiS, etc., have decided to regulate access to educational content (online courses). Each university now has the right to restrict access to its own materials and charge fees for access to the restricted portion of online courses.
