The First Vice-Rector of MEPhI Oleg Nagornov opened the Festival.

The “heart” of the festival was the assembly hall of the university, where popular science lectures were delivered by Ilya Chugunkov, Head of the Educational Department of the Institute of Cyber Intelligence Systems of the MEPhI, Evgeniy Stepin, Deputy Director of the Center for Engineering Physics and Supercomputer Modeling of the MEPhI, and Vladimir Mironov, Head of the 3D Printing Center of the Institute of Engineering Physics for Biomedicine of the MEPhI.

Georgy Tikhomirov, Deputy Director of the Institute for Nuclear Physics and Engineering of the MEPhI, Yuri Sibirmovsky, Researcher at the Center for Radiophotonics and Microwave Technologies, and Gleb Tikhonovskiy, an employee of the Laboratory of Bionanophotonics, took part in a briefing with scientists.

But the festival program was not limited to lectures: inquisitive schoolchildren could visit a chemical and physical show, a scientific food court, an exhibition of MEPhI developments, participate in various master classes and see a demonstration of entertaining scientific experiments.

The All-Russian Science Festival has been held in Moscow and other regions since 2006.
