Vladimir Shevchenko Was Approved as Rector of MEPhI

On December 30, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia approved Vladimir Shevchenko as the rector of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. He will serve as the rector of the university until the end of 2026.

Vladimir Shevchenko graduated from MEPhI with honors in 1996. For more than ten years he worked at the Kurchatov Institute, as well as at leading nuclear centers in Europe. He has extensive experience in megaprojects.

The previous place of work of Vladimir Shevchenko was the acting rector of MEPhI. He was appointed to this position on July 3, 2021.
