A few days ago, the results of the QS World University Rankings 2022 were published. The ranking includes 1300 of the best universities in the world.

National Research Nuclear University MEPhI ranked 319th among the best universities in the world. At the same time, the university improved its position for 5 out of 6 indicators: academic reputation, the number of citations per one scientific and pedagogical worker, the proportion of foreign scientific and pedagogical workers, the proportion of foreign students, and the quality of education.

In terms of the share of foreign students, MEPhI entered the top-125 best universities in the world and took 3rd place among all Russian universities.

MEPhI took 1st place in terms of the share of foreign teachers and 4th place in citation among all universities in Russia.

The assessment of QS World University Rankings is based on the following indicators: academic reputation (40% of the total score), reputation among employers (10%), the ratio of academic staff and students (20%), the number of citations per academic employee (20%), the share of foreign scientific and pedagogical workers (5%), the share of foreign students (5%).
