In the middle of April, the RAEX Agency have published its annual rankings in two fields — Mathematical and Natural field and Engineering and Technology — among Russian universities.

National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI" entered the top three leading universities in Engineering and Technology, taking 2nd place in the quality of education in this area. In the ranking of the best universities in the Natural and Mathematical field, MEPhI took 4th place.

The university positions in the rankings were influenced by three factors - the quality of education, scientific results and the demand for graduates in the labor market. Data from monitoring the graduates’ employment of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Web of Science Core Collection database, university questionnaires, as well as the results of surveys conducted by RAEX among employers, representatives of the academic and scientific community, students and alumni were used.
