Description

An open lecture "Cosmic matter in the laboratory: mega-science projects" will be held on October 16, 2019 at 11:00.
The lecture will be delivered by Professor Peter Zenger, Helmholtz Center for the Study of Heavy Ions GSI, Germany.
The lecture program includes news on the development of universal detectors CBM (Compressed Baryonic Matter) and BM @ N (Baryonic Matter at Nuclotron) for future accelerator complexes FAIR (Germany) and NICA (Russia).
Those who are interested in participating in NICA mega-science projects should contact A.V. Taranenko (associate professor of MEPhI, head of the MEPhI group in the MPD collaboration (NICA)
