XXIV international conference "Ion-surface interaction"

The conference "Ion-surface interaction" is a traditional conference devoted to the fundamental and applied aspects of the processes occurring in the ion bombardment of solids. It has been held every two years since 1971.

The main attention is paid to the fundamental issues of interaction of ions and plasma with the surface. Practical applications are also considered.

The program 2019 conference will include invited, oral and poster presentations on the following topics:

1. Spraying, surface structure, desorption;

2. Scattering and penetration of ions;

3. Emission of ions, electrons, photons and x-rays during ion bombardment;

4. Ion implantation and surface modification;

5. Ion-induced processes in thin films and nanostructures;

6. Plasma-surface interaction – physics and technology.
