Description

In 2005 Stanford Professor John P. A. Ioannidis published an article “Why Most Published Research Findings Are False”. The work evoked a wide response. Study of frankly incorrect work will probably give us understanding of how to make science better, and the story about it true.

How do works with obvious and non-obvious mistakes appear in scientific journals? What was found in the Bigfoot genome? What is hidden homeopathy? Can listening to Beatles' songs rejuvenate?

These questions will be answered by Alexander Panchin, candidate of biological sciences, member of the Commission of Sciences to combat pseudoscience and falsification of scientific data, the winner of the award "Educator" for the book "the Sum of biotechnologies".
