Description

VI international youth scientific school-conference “Modern problems of physics and technology” is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of MEPhI and the 95th anniversary of the academician N.G. Basov – graduate of MEPhI, the Nobel laureate.

The school program includes:

Lectures by leading Russian and foreign scientists in the modern scientific fields of research

Performance of young scientists (oral and poster presentations)

Report competition among young scientists, postgraduates and students. The winners will be recommended for publication in the journal “Brief reports on physics of LPI” (included in the Web of science) and in the journal IOP: Conference Series (included in Web of science and Scopus)

Proceedings publication

Participation of students and young researchers as participants of the school without a report

Visit to laboratories and scientific centers of MEPhI, Lebedev physics Institute, Prokhorov General Physics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
